France Residence by investment
France is the most touristic country in the world and is admired for its culture and lifestyle. Residents have access to free healthcare and education. In 2016, France added new options to its Passport Talent immigration category which includes investor and innovator paths. Until now, business people had only the entrepreneur option to apply to. Those approved can obtain a 4-year temporary residence permit. Permanent residence in France is possible after 8 years, but most apply directly for naturalization into French citizenship as it’s possible after 5 years of residence. The set of requirements are different. The French passport is one of the best in the world and provides visa-free travel to the U.S. and freedom of movement into the European Union.

France Investor
The France immigrant investor program offer 3 possibilities to qualify:
- by investing personally in a company in which you acquire a lasting interest (at least 10% of the capital) or by investing, via a company that you direct personally or in which you own at least 30% of the capital, OR
- by creating or saving (or committing to create or save) employment within 4 years of investment in France (letter of commitment with annual job creation and foreign investment plan) , OR
- by making (or undertaking to make) an investment in tangible or intangible assets of at least 300,000 EUR in France.

France Entrepreneur & Innovator
The Entrepreneur program requires the foreigner to invest at least 30,000 EUR in his business. The innovator program doesn’t impose a minimum investment amount but you must formulate an innovative economic project and get endorsement by a recognized public body, normally in the form of an incubator.
